Background

Laura is a recent textile design graduate, graduating from Nottingham Trent University (2011). Laura designs and makes in her studio in Blyth, Northumberland. She creates exciting handwoven accesories inspired by her exploration of texture, colour and fascination of pattern.

My cloth is woven on an antique floor loom in Northumberland, England. This cloth is lovingly made into unique accessories such as scarves, coin purses, gadget cases and jewellery. All products are warp, threaded, woven, sew and hand finished by Me - Laura Parkin
